1. What this policy covers
This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why we collect it, who can access it and what rights you have. It is written in accordance with Costa Rican Law No. 8968 on the Protection of the Person in the Processing of Personal Data and its regulation (Executive Decree 37554-JP).
2. What data we collect
When you fill in the contact form: your name, email address, and optionally your phone number, company name, the subject and the content of your message.
When you book a preliminary call: bookings are handled through Google Calendar. The data you provide there — typically your name, email address and any note you add — is collected and processed by Google under its own privacy policy, and shared with us as the organiser of the meeting.
Automatically: standard server logs kept by our hosting provider, and the strictly necessary cookies described in our Cookie Policy.
We do not collect sensitive data, and we do not ask for payment details on this website.
3. Why we use it
- To reply to the questions you send us.
- To schedule, hold and follow up on a preliminary call.
- To keep a record of our correspondence with you.
- Only if you give separate, explicit consent: to send you commercial communications about our services.
We will not use your data for any purpose other than those listed above without asking you first.
4. Legal basis
We process your data on the basis of your informed consent, given freely and specifically for the purposes described above, as required by article 5 of Law No. 8968. You can withdraw that consent at any time; withdrawing it does not affect processing already carried out.
5. Who can access your data
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Your data is accessible to the following service providers, who act on our behalf:
- Odoo S.A. — hosting of this website and of the contact form.
- Google LLC — Google Calendar and Google Meet for bookings, and Gmail for email correspondence.
6. International transfers
Our service providers process data on servers located outside Costa Rica, including in the European Union and the United States. When personal data leaves Costa Rica we rely on the contractual safeguards offered by these providers, as required by Law No. 8968.
7. How long we keep it
We keep the content of your enquiry for as long as needed to answer it and to manage any relationship that follows from it. If no relationship follows, we delete it once it is no longer useful. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.
8. Your rights
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected if inaccurate, to have it deleted, and to withdraw your consent. To exercise any of these rights, write to info@fractionalpartner.co. We will respond within the time limits set by Costa Rican law.
If you believe your data has not been handled correctly, you may also file a complaint with the Agencia de Protección de Datos de los Habitantes (PRODHAB), the Costa Rican supervisory authority.
9. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No system is completely secure, but we work only with established providers and we limit access to what is necessary.
10. Changes to this policy
If we start using new tools — for example website analytics or advertising technologies — we will update this page before doing so and change the date shown above.
